Urban Darling Fashion Show to benefit the
YWCA Counseling Services for Children
Urban Darling, a wardrobe consulting firm founded in San Jose, Ca., will be holding a launch party and fashion show on Thursday April 29th at the Lancaster Marriott that will include a silent auction to benefit our counseling services for children in the YW Sexual Assault Prevention and Counseling Center (SAPCC). Drinks and hors d' oeuvres will be served. The creative black tie event marks the company’s debut in central Pennsylvania and will run from 7-9 p.m. The cost to attend is $35 in advance and $45 at the door.
SAPCC Counseling Services Director Debra Francis Werner says about 300 child survivors of sexual assault and abuse, and their loved ones receive free counseling and support from her staff each year. “I’m very grateful, “ Werner said, “that Urban Darling is donating the evening’s proceeds to our work helping children and their families through the emotionally-traumatic, healing and recovery process.”
Current sponsors include: Mercedes-Benz of Lancaster, The Art Institute of York, Ladies Who Launch – Harrisburg and Fine Living Lancaster.

I am soooo sorry but due to my mother's passing a little over a week ago, I will need to cancel the event. I will be working diligently on a new event that will take place during the summer in hopes to support the YWCA. I have several other projects scheduled throughout the year and would love for you to attend those as well. If you purchased a ticket, I will be refunding your money or you may opt for it to be donated to the YWCA. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
I just wanted to let you know that due to the weather they are predicting for the next 48 hrs that we have decided to post pone the event. Our new date for the event will be scheduled April 29th. Same time, same place. This will assure a great turn out, time, and safe driving. Until then darlings, stock up on milk and bread and see you in April.
